Struggling with redeeming miles

Hi all - I'm new to Miles Awards and how to redeem them. I have planned flights upcoming from LAX to Seoul and returning from Hong Kong to LAX in November. I would like to use my Alaska Airlines Miles, of which I have about 105,000, and I am aware that they currently have a promotion to buy more Miles and get a bonus. But when I try to look for flights on the Alaska Airlines website, there's very limited flight options and almost none direct, and sometimes none for partner airlines.

Is this normal? Would it help if I called Alaska and spoke with an agent?
