male mystery won't leave my girl alone

every damn day, all damn morning and all damn night my male mystery snail is ATTACHED to my female. he's doing it right now, the little freak! i'm afraid he's gonna mate himself or her to death. is there any way to tell them to get a room? should i just separate them?
