So the thing is when I told my family that I might score around 460–490 in NEET, they compared it to last year’s cutoffs and assumed I’d get a 4–5 lakh rank. That gave me some freedom. They told me to explore what I want, just keep something medical related side by side. I thought it was the perfect chance. My plan was simple: get into a good BCA college, preferably in Bangalore or Hyderabad for exposure, and once that’s done, slowly convince them to let go of the medical dream. I even cleared the interview for Kristu Jayanti College (KJC) in Bangalore for BCA Analytics. But yesterday, when my NEET result came 89k rank they suddenly changed everything. Now BDS ya BHMS hi karni hai. Kyu? Kyunki rank aagayi ab to! Same thing happened back in 10th. I wanted PCM, they forced PCB. I fought for a month, even school admission office me subke samne ladi karli thi mene The thing is, I’ve always been passionate about tech. It started in class 6 with modding games, WiFi hacking, and playing around with pentesting. In the family, they used to call me a hacker. Then I got into web dev and I loved it.

But in 10th, they forced me into biology. In 11th, I scored 66% mostly because I wasn’t interested and ladki ka chakkar. In 12th, I studied more seriously, but exam time mmy ke fracture ho gaya papa ki shop dekhna hospitals jana and even after all efforts I still only got 80%. Right after boards, my dad’s health collapsed. I spent 2–3 months in hospitals with him, didn’t give any competitive exams. Then he passed away. That broke me. I developed sleep anxiety, depression, and panic attacks Started taking meds. Thankfully they didnt sent me Kota they thought mar jayega ye So I stayed home, did some ghr k chote mote kam and studied online all nights. I also got into freelancing and earned from blockchain airdrops and projects during 12th and my drop year. Toward the end of my prep, my mental health got only worse 2-3 din nind he nhi aati koi baat karne k liye tha nhi I now have PTSD from hospitals. That environment pressure suffocates me. I was never interested in biology. You can see it in my NEET and JEE scores. All I want is to study tech blockchain, web development, security. I’ve already made money from it. But Now after all that, just because I got 89k rank, my family is forcing me to go back into a field that literally gives me mental breakdowns. What should I do?
