Is $30 an hour as a SLPA in southern California enough to be financially independent?

Hello, I have been an SLPA for 4 months at a small pediatric clinic in orange county, CA. Although I currently make $26 an hour, I plan on asking for a raise up to $30 at my 6 month mark, with my claim being that I have gained experience, met expectations in meeting my goals, and that the indeed job posting for the company has been updated to be $30 now compared to when I applied it was only $26.

For context I still get paid regardless if a client cancels / no shows, and I work 28 hours per week.

My question is if I have a stable financial situation as an SLPA with this salary, assuming I cook food from scratch and manage miscellaneous expenses on a budget? Is it necessary for me to go back to school to get my masters degree to be a SLP?
