Job situation after marrying an NRI

Have a few questions for the people who married an NRI.

Did you quit your job right after you got married, moved to your spouses country on spousal visa?

Or Did you wait until you got a job in the foreign country ?

Were you able to get a job in the foreign country if yes what is the average time ?

I understand it is ideal to be in that country to score more interviews but being unemployed feels scary.
