Is it “ok” if I live now poorer with higher salary than 6 years ago?

I remember moving to London and having less salary. I was travelling every weekend to some locations around and outside London, going out, visiting cinema/theatre/opera. I was eating out and was able to save some cash at the end of the month.

How, having much more money, I can’t seem to afford the same level anymore. No more savings, every month just back to where I started. And they say that with higher salary you get better standards but mine just getting lower and lower each month.

Waitrose out of scope, same as good gym. Had to register at a local dentistry as my previous one is no longer affordable for me. The math is not mathing
