Rate my Plan / Your Strategy
We’re checking in late on February 19, leaving us the 20th and 21st in the park before spending some time at Disney Springs and driving home on the 22nd. There’s no wiggle room on those dates due to work / school requirements. My daughter is 17. She’s never been to Hollywood, and it’s been 19 years since my wife and I have been. All three of us have been to MK and Epcot multiple times. My daughter has been to AK once, the wife and I have been 3 times. Also of note, we have been absolutely spoiled by staying at the Hard Rock and getting the unlimited express pass at Universal, which we’ve done twice. My daughter has been back to Universal on two separate school sponsored events. We passed on Epic Universe this trip because she wanted to go to Hollywood.
Our game plan, park order subject to change based on extra magic hours:
MK: ILL for Tron and MLL to hit Pirates, Jungle Cruise (not a must), Big Thunder (if open), Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan and Pooh (both hard maybes), Space Mountain, and Space Ranger Spin (if open) - I figure we can walk onto the People Mover and the Carousel of Progress.
Later in the day, we plan to monorail to Epcot and ILL Cosmic Rewind and probably MLL Soarin’, Test Track, and maybe Remy’s - honestly, we’re only going to Epcot for Cosmic Rewind and to walk around and eat / drink. If we can walk on, we’ll do The Land and Caballeros. We’ll take the Skyliner back to the Caribbean where we’re staying for the weekend.
HS: Premier LL because it’s pretty much 100% brand new to all of us. The wife and I have ridden Tower of Terror and Rock’n’Roller Coaster (which I expect to be closed).
No food reservations - the kid eats like a bird, and the wife and I usually share an entree - though we may book a breakfast at someplace on the Boardwalk before we leave on Sunday (we’ve not been to the Boardwalk in all our Disney trips).
