I owe the Andor community an apology.
I tried to watch Andor a couple times before and honestly thought the show was boring af. I could not believe this was the show receiving all the hype from so many damn people. I just couldnt get past episode 2. I didn't like the storytelling, forgettable cast, thought the acting was meh, and felt it dragged (especially the flashbacks with Cassian as a kid). I also naively thought you just couldn't tell an interesting enough of a Star Wars story without having Jedi and Sith involved in it.
I just felt I was being gaslit into liking it by the fandom.
But then...I decided to use the little patience I have and watch until the end of episode 3 and OMFG!!! I could not have been more wrong. Episode 3 takes this show to a whole other level. I just finished epsidoe 4 and am absolutely hooked. The writing, acting, world building, cinematography, all seemed to have improved immensely.
I HAD to come on here and write out how good this show is because damn... If it keeps going on the trajectory it is right now, it has the potential to be one of the best pieces of science fiction media EVER.
I apologize for judging too quickly and can't wait to start episode 5. Love ya ✊🏾
