How did you learn to do goth makeup?

Hello, I’m a goth teen girl, not sure if I’d consider myself a baby-bat, and I got goth down, although I struggle with the DIY category involving sewing, simply because I don’t have the energy and makeup. I started getting into makeup two years ago, and while I understand each part, I don’t know how to get my base white white, and I don’t know eyeliner AT ALL. The base is simply because I found the right product and matched it with my oily skin. While eyeliner is a struggle, I can’t close my right eye without closing the other and flinch easily while my eyes can’t stay that still. I’ve slowly improved my weaknesses but failed to grow much in the makeup world. I intend to do today’s eccentric makeup looks, but I don't know how to grow from makeup basics to an authentic look.
