😔Most people are beautiful, people who don’t believe that to be true have a lot of trouble accepting themselves which makes them negative and cruel and they really might need help with hygiene 🤨 😔

Im complaining that people who are insecure or hate themselves may be cruel because of that. Most people who think they’re ugly just need a little help.

Read this like I’m an angry bitch. Give me an evil British accent I wanna come off like I’m one of those mean sexy secretary ladies that are clearly judging you. Cuz I’m totally complaining and not just trying to give unsolicited advice… I mean, it’s at least a rant..

I know a lot of people can be down on themselves and others because they don’t feel great about themselves. I realize that most people don’t have access to resources that can help them feel more attractive or clean.

[This is a baseline, some things work better for others- you don’t need to be the cleanest most perfect person ever]. Being cleaner than someone else, in your eyes, isn’t an indicator that what you’re doing is more correct or even less harmful than not doing it at all (I’m talking to you, daily shampooers)

Hygiene.

CHANGE YOUR UNDERWEAR EVERYDAY. (I had to get this out of the way)

Use any deodorant- old spice is cheap and good and works for all genders, in my experience. I’ve heard mixed reviews on dove and some other brands..

Wash your hair twice a week with any shampoo and conditioner you think works for you. I like the oxy coconut stuff that’s about 6$ per bottle at Walmart. All this is depending on your hair type.. if your hair is straight, do what I’m telling you to do here.

My husband is black so I’ve kinda picked up on what helps with curly hair but I’m not entirely qualified. šŸ˜” use products made for curly hair for sure tho

Floss at least once a day before you go to bed, that’s how your teeth gets extra yellow and food being stuck in your teeth causes cavities. Bad breath, and other gum issues that could be causing problems.

Brush your tongue. it is not immune from the stink

Brush your teeth when you wake up and when you go to bed. You might be thinking ā€œwell I don’t eat in my sleep why would I have to do that?ā€ … your mouth gets gross.. idk why. It just does. Maybe your sleep paralysis demon is washing your mouth out with nasty ass air or something. Just brush your teeth when you get up. Someone tell me why this happens

Exfoliate. Man, woman, anything in between. Exfoliate. Use a scrub or a sponge or whatever you’d like. Exfoliate your arm pits, your creases, under your tiddies, elbows, crotch area (do not put sugar by your crotch,) feet, and your legs. This helps reduce ingrown hairs that can hurt you, become infected, or create unwanted texture. Also gets rid of dead skin and will get rid of bumps you might get from shaving šŸŖ’

Moisturize. After you shower, and especially after you exfoliate, you need to moisturize. The heat and the humidity can actually dry your skin out crazy style. Jergens, cerave, coconut oil, anything you got, lather it all over everywhere except your face.

You need to use different soap and moisturizer for your face, neck, and chest because the skin is thinner and more sensitive in those areas. Some products can also clog your pores. Coconut oil will do that too.

Cerave is great with their lotion, you can use their body lotion on your face because it’s pretty much the exact same ingredients as their face moisturizer. There are so many different skin types so you might have to experiment but usually a good gentle cleanser by cerave and some moisturizer is all you need.

You don’t need to over complicate it at all. Personally I like to use hyaloronic acid and castor oil along with my moisturizer tho

Use sunscreen. Face sunscreen is different from regular sunscreen. Use them both. I don’t care if you’re brown, use the damn sunscreen.

….. chap stick and water is your god that you should worship.

Vaseline ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøšŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤ …

You hoes don’t need to shave or use makeup or perfume or cologne if you don’t want to but you need to wash your body and moisturize that shit.

And like obviously eat a fruit and drink water- thats a whole other thing that I could get into but I’m not trying to make this any more impossible to read lmao

I think it also goes without saying that you should be at least a little bit active but this post is kinda about hygiene not just about doing things that make you feel healthy. Everyone’s gotta start somewhere

…

There are some things that might help if you do feel ugly even after some self care. You don’t need straight teeth but whitening them can be helpful- crest whitening strips remain the greatest of all time. Wearing makeup doesn’t make you ugly, it’s okay to play with mascara or concealer. There are a ton of helpful low budget videos on YouTube about where you can get good cheap makeup and how you can apply it :)

Dress like an adult or at least a kid with a lot of swagger. Or at least wear clean clothes

This is separate from those who make beauty their career or livelyhood, this is more so about teens who struggle and need some help with hygiene or older individuals who become sorta hateful and insecure- I think the average person is holding everyone to an impossible standard when they just sorta need to feel clean and moisturized.

Honestly, I’m just rambling at this point lol

The only ugly people on this planet that exist are those who don’t take care of themselves at all specifically because they don’t think they can, or genuinely hateful people who don’t want to change.
