The plot thickens

I found someone's actual headstone from the 1800"s today at an estate sale and purchased it. I looked the name up on Find A Grave and it shows this person is buried in a community cemetary. There were no photos of this headstone or grave. Why would this be at an estate sale? Should I confirm with the cemetary that this person is still there and try to put it back or what?
