High school senior advice

Some Advice

Hello everyone! I just wanted to come up on here and ask for some advice. So I am a rising high school senior and have been taking community college classes since my freshman year. This spring I took my first year of English, and even thought I had a really high A the whole semester and did the extra credit essay that was supposed to add 10% to my grade, I got nuked with a B. So I’m obviously very confused, I had gotten 100% on all my essays and I think my professor had like idk 6 left to grade out of like 20😭 besides the point I am currently taking second year English during the summer, and now I am actually getting a B. Like my last two essays we’re not looking good, I was definitely considering dropping and taking the W, but the thing is I already got a B in the class that was supposed to be easier, thus I am very confused on what to do with my life. I’m honestly also considering just dropping to work on my frickin college essays and summer assignments, but then I would not longer be taking by 10 credits (I would still be left with two summer college classes. I emailed my last professor to see if I could work anything out (I am praying here), but at this point is that even a good idea? Well at the end of the day I am here to also ask if this willl kill my chances at getting into a semi-decent school. Another concern is that since I already got a B and I know for the most part these credits transfer meaning I will start with a non 4.0 GPA. My goal is to go to med school but I’m basically wasting my GPA on an English class and not a STEM one. So please if anyone has any advice please lmk👌👌👌
