My grandfather died in August 2024...

In Trump's first term, my grandmother supported him wholeheartedly. She never had a bad thing to say about Donald Trump.

In August of 2024, my grandfather died. My grandfather always had the TV turned on to Fox News. It was the only news channel he watched. Now that he's deceased, my grandmother pretty much only watches local news.

When President Trump started his second term, my grandmother started saying negative things about him. These things were small but it was interesting to hear.

Now, my grandmother despises Donald Trump. She calls him a dictator and constantly goes on about how dangerous, selfish, narcissistic, incompetent and delusional he is. She actually got into an argument with my uber-Trump supporting aunt (her daughter) and said she'll never talk to someone so deluded again. She doesn't want anything to do with someone who supports someone evil.

I couldn't figure out why my grandmother had this sudden, massive change of heart until I realized Fox News is never on her TV anymore.
