Y'all mbti is taking over me.

Light MBTI Discussion

It is. And it's pretty bad. Im gonna say, when I first took mbti I was shocked. I found it so relatable. But I umm only saw the memes and slight descriptions on 16 personalities site. At first I thought introverted and extroverted types were the same and we could change our personalities. I even went out of the way to prove I was enfp, but something didn't feel right. Then what social isolation did for me is that I couldn't see people so I started reading about people, that is mbti. I read so much, so much about compatibility of types, understood the functions deeply and got a gist of all types. I guess it was my craze for some time. I used to over analyze whatever I did with mbti stuff and everyonce in a while there would be 'oh man, I use x function therefore I must be xxxx type'. Then I also started analyzing people to know their type as well. First I would get their vibe of it. Literally. And my intuition would be pretty accurate tbh. But I wouldn't be sure of it until I connect their behaviour with cognitive functions or some sterotypes as a way to be sure. And the fact is I haven't stopped doing this. I don't analyze my actions anymore and I'm sure I'm infp, but I still want to know the type of the person I talk with or see frequently. Do you do this as well? And how do you type people?.
