Michelin X Tour A/S hydroplaning

We have Michelin X Tour A/S tires with 30k. It recently rained and we drove through a patch of wet roadway around 50 mph and it started hydroplaning. This morning we checked tire thread with a coin and the thread seems fine in the middle but the first outer thread is low. We rotate on schedule and will double check tire pressure but curious if anyone has isssues hydroplaning with this tire.
