Best budget starter

I have flight sim but only play DCS recently I have gotten into go-karting and I really want to simrace im having trouble finding a good wheel, pedal, and shifter. My friend tells me NOT to get the logitech wheels but right now it seems my only option is to get a refurbished g29 wheel and pedal off of ebay. Any other suggestion?
