How did y’all start junk journaling???

How did y’all get the urge to start your JJ? Did you have so many things and just decided it all needed a home? Did you begin collecting things first and then start to work on pages? I’m truly fascinated by this hobby and idk where to start. Please share how you got started. I’m super interested :)
