What about the 80s? For mafia 5, was seeing a bit of information on a sort of unknown mafia crime family in the mid 80s in southern California.

if they progress into 90s and 2000s it has to be sopranos style, fall of the mob story, it should be set in NY/NJ inspired area.(Updated empire bay to modern standards + modern looking (90s early 2000s) and New Jersey area. Could EASILY have VITO as a bed ridden old school crime boss in his dying days similar to the Jon Gravelli character in GTA4.
Btw why is New york city mentioned in Mafia if they already have Empire bay?
