Alcohol and feeling really awful

I've been taking 10 mg of Citalopram for severe PMDD continuously for about 3 months now, and it has helped my symptoms tremendously. I used to get intrusive and obsessive thoughts, panic attacks, complete loss of executive function, heavy fatique, and tons of crying before, but it has been reduced to simply feeling more tired than usual.

I've drank some hard seltzers on three previous occasions without any adverse effects, but yesterday I took a shot of Jägermeister, a glass of wine and two hard seltzers, and woke up feeling awful today. Not hungover at all, but very depressed and sensitive. I've cried a ton, lost my appetite and felt really fatiqued today. I have 10 days until my period, so it's exactly when my PMDD symptoms typically kick in.

I've decided to drop the alcohol for now, or at least try to time it differently on my cycle in the future. I've been very stressed, tired and under pressure in general for the past two weeks, so this was totally not the right move. Citalopram hasn't affected my tolerance, but alcohol clearly does affect the effectiveness of the drug.
