Does anyone else's person go on benders but return to normal life for weeks in between?

My bf goes on benders uses, turns jealous, paranoid and agitated and itll be chaos for a week. Then he'll snap back to normal life, apologize to me sincerely a bunch, tell me he's done for sure this time. He'll follow through with his responsibilities, be a wonderful partner and parent to his kid. Then a couple weeks go by and boom another week of chaos. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Im grateful his habit isnt daily but I'm emotionally exhausted. He has more supports right now so that's good. But I keep finding myself wanting to savour every moment because I don't know how long it will last.
