Why are there posts on here with puppies and kittens, saying last thing you ate is their name?

Just asking if anyone else gets sick & tired of seeing all these stupid posts ' last thing you ate will be their name'. I'm starting to get really bored at seeing these stupid and rediculous posts. I'm thinking if your dumb enough to not be able to name a pet yourself then your not smart enough to own a pet. Am I right or wrong?
