Does the P8 have the same modem/connection issues as the P6?

Getting tired of my P6 dropping internet constantly throughout the day, so I'm finally looking to switch. I'm considering the base P8 because it's the smallest of the newer models, so I wanted to see if this one has the same issue and what y'all's experience has been with it? I love this line of phones honestly aside from this issue, so I'm hoping you guys have had better experiences with the 8. Thanks in advance for any answers
