My Horrifying Experience with a Dentist in Lucknow — Please Read Before You Visit Dr. Preeti

Posting this because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I’ve been through.

Back in 2017, right before I moved to the US for higher studies, I visited Dr. Preeti in Lucknow for what was supposed to be a simple tooth bleaching. But during the appointment, she convinced me to get dental bonding, saying it was just a harmless “paint” that would make my teeth look better. What she didn’t tell me was that this involved shaving down my natural front teeth — something I never consented to.

Midway through the procedure, I realized something was very wrong and tried to stop her, but she continued anyway. The material she used was poor quality, the work was shoddy, and the outcome was devastating. It’s now been years of pain, emotional trauma, and expensive corrections — I’ve had to see multiple dentists in both India and the US to fix what she did, and it can never be fully undone.

I reached out to her in 2021, hoping for some acknowledgment or accountability. She never followed up. When I tried again in 2023, she switched our WhatsApp messages to disappearing mode, clearly trying to erase any record. No apology, no explanation — just complete silence.

For those wondering — I have solid proof: • Receipts from 4 dentists (India + USA) who treated the damage • Before-and-after photos of my teeth • A detailed expert opinion from a US dentist explaining the extent of the damage • Screenshots of chats (before disappearing messages were enabled)

My current dentist confirmed that my front teeth were bonded with composite resin, done in a way that severely compromised my natural teeth. According to them, this should NEVER have been done without proper explanation, consent, or understanding of long-term consequences.

I’ve kept quiet for a long time because of the trauma and hoping she’d do the right thing. But I’ve realized silence only protects people like her.

So here I am. If you’re in Lucknow or considering treatment from Dr. Preeti — PLEASE be careful. Ask questions, do your research, and never agree to anything on the spot.

I’ll be uploading full evidence soon for transparency — not for revenge, but because no one deserves to live with what I’ve been going through every day since.

If anyone has advice on reporting medical negligence in India, or has been through something similar, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
