Finding the will to pay it off
M25 with some mental illness here (my family says I probably have autism but never that it was important enough to get me diagnosed).
I can start by saying that I know my situation isn’t too bad compared to others. I owe around $2000 on a card and I have almost no money in my checking account- whatever money I make from my part-time jobs goes to paying my rent, insurance and making the minimum payment on my CC
If I was working full-time I’m sure I would be able to pay it off sooner. After all $2000 isn’t that much and the interest rate is manageable. I should be able to figure this out.
However, finding a good full-time job in this economy has proved to be extremely difficult this year. I am currently in interviews for a very high-paying position ($40 an hour would be insane) but I’m not super confident that I’ll get the job- or keep it past the summer.
I can’t borrow money from my parents and I have a desire to help THEM pay the bills after I get rid of this $2000 stone.
To top it off, my car just got totaled and I’m having to take the bus to work. Knock some sense into me: what do I do?
