Language barrier

Hey so I am waiting for phase 2 results and most probably will get a scholarship and joining SRM ap . So I wanted to ask that is there any language barrier there bw faculty and students . Most spoken language , how many north indians and do I have to learn a bit of telugu now Please Help.
