What are the best tools for creating prototype designs for OCs?

Am a casual artist and like drawing sometimes but when am not willing to draw or need placeholder art for my Solo ttrpg games I use stuff like Hero Forge and Gacha Life. What apps are good for creating characters and prototyping designs of characters before I commit to making a full drawing of them?
