Entry Point 12 Parking at Crane Lake

I have a trip planned from entry point 12, Little Vermillion / Crane Lake. We do not plan to have a tow and plan to paddle through Crane Lake to the entry point. This will be my first trip using an entry point that is not a portage from a dedicated BWCA parking area.

My questions are:

1. Which boat launch is best for a BWCA canoe trip using entry point 12?
2. As the entry point itself does not have any parking, is parking a vehicle at a boat landing for several days allowed? If not, what have people done for parking on similar trips in the past?
