Apartment near major highway

I live in Toronto near a major highway (about 150 meters away?). Looking to buy air purifier with charcoal to mitigate traffic related air pollution. Anyone from Canada have experience in what to get? Apartment I live in is about 500sq ft. in total. Not sure what my budget it yet tbh
