Is this platform rewarding staller?
I was playing a game with mobile data. I got into a winning position after my opponent blundered, and he went stalling when he only got 3 minutes left. I was waiting for my win but my internet connection got disrupted by a phone call, and when I came back the game was deemed ABORTED??
What I could not comprehend was:
- I got 30 seconds left before the auto-abort timer ran out. My opponent left the game hanging and I had to wait for more than a minute before his auto-abort timer started ticking.
- The game was not recorded because it is an aborted game, so I could not file a complaint with the support system.
So chesscom, is this a valid strategy that you encourage players to do when someone lose the game? By stalling and hoping for the other player to ran into issues so the game can be aborted?
