Boy Name Help ❤️

Hello Name Nerds! Longtime lurker and upvoter, first time poster. But now... I'm the one in need of help with picking a name.

I'm so excited to be 30 weeks pregnant with my second child - a boy!

This is after a long, long 15-year infertility battle. I'd love to find a name that fits this little one and is appropriate.

Here are the parameters:

-This pregnancy was made possible by a donor embryo. That means that it was donated to us by another couple who also did IVF and have completed their family, but they still had frozen embryos they didn't want to destroy.

-Even though I'm physically carrying and giving birth to this child, it shares no DNA with my husband and I (science is so cool!). I'm effectively a surrogate, but I keep the baby.

-I am fully Caucasian (British, Russian, German, etc), my spouse is half Caucasian (British, Scottish) and half Indigenous (called American Indian in the USA, I believe).

-Because it’s a donated embryo, the baby will have full South Asian (Indian) DNA (as the donors origins are from there).

-I am Jewish (Reform, so not strict)

-We LOVE names that have a root in Sci Fi, especially Star Trek and Doctor Who. The name almost has to be able to tie back to something Sci-Fi, just for fun.

-We don't want a name that's really "out there" OR very common.
