Aitah for not wanting to pay gas money

Aitah for not wanting to pay my friend gas money. Quick back story she’s 18 I’m 17 and we have been friends for 3 almost 4 years. When I turned 16 she told me to apply for this job to work with her I told her that I would not have a ride so I couldn’t. She then promised me three things one being she would help me apply two being she would provide me transportation and three that it would be free because she knows that my mom takes most of my check and what I have left I pay my phone bill and put to savings . Ok so here’s where the problem came in at first it was ok besides her never being on time coming to get me making me late almost EVERY day and where we work has a point system so 5 points and your out. But still I didn’t complain because a ride is a ride . But then after 5 months of her giving me rides her mom told her that she couldn’t give me rides home anymore until her grades were up. Still being understanding I said that was fine and began taking Lyfts but then even after her grades came up her mom still wouldn’t allow her to take me home from work I said ok it’s fine I’ll stick to using what little money I have to Lyft home . That’s when gas money came into play , her mom told her that she now had to charge me gas money for her to give me rides. I then pointed out that if I don’t have a ride home and most days she ends up not taking me to work anyways so I Lyft I shouldn’t be paying gas money . I understand that the car Dosent move off air but I also feel like I shouldn’t have to give gas money if the transportation isn’t there. I also feel that it’s important to note I believe her mom is only doing this simply because i( a black American ) stated that there’s a difference between black American and African American ( my friend is African American her mom is just African ).
