Currently 40DD, calculator says 36G/H, struggle with rib pain under breasts but need more support

Hi. You prob get about a million posts like this a week. I am very confused by the size that the bra calculator gave me. Here are the measurements.

1. 36.5
2. 35
3. 31.75
4. 41.75
5. 43.5
6. 42.5

The calculator said I’m a 36G/H. I was measured at Soma and they said 40DD. I don’t understand how these are so different. I checked the underbust 3x. I’m 180lbs and haven’t been a 36 in lots of years. That just seems too tight, especially since I have rib pain? They are starting to sag , especially as I’ve gained weight, so I’d like to give them some more support.

I also haven’t worn an underwire since one jabbed me so hard, I hit a sore that got infected and I had to have it debrided. 😬

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
