thinking about moving to sf mainly for dating as a mid twenties woman

hi all, i work in tech and always thought id end up in the bay area after graduation. however, I found myself working for a startup in nyc. while I love the pay and everything else in my life is pretty good, my dating life has been kind of a disaster. when I lived in socal earlier in my life I never had a problem getting a boyfriend- in fact, I was the avoidant one. however in nyc it feels like pulling a tooth getting a decent guy to commit to me. I've definitely gotten more attractive if anything since I lived in California, so I think the environment plays a large part.

Anyone have experiences moving to find love and if so how'd it go? I know this seems like a small reason to move, but wanting a husband and kids is a big goal in my life and I want to fulfill it within a reasonable timeframe. I have recruiters emailing me from sf all the time so it'd definitely be doable. any advice?
