r/newzealand's timer is annoying

I don't know if it's because I'm new to r/newzealand or what, but after I made a post, I got responses. When I try to reply to the responses, I have to wait around 10 min between each response... Like seriously? I wanna quickly respond to any comments and move on with my day... Not have to go back every 10 min to respond. Is it necessary to have the timer especially for so long? Makes me not even want to respond to everyone. Ain't nobody got time for dat! Wish I could post the gif of Ms Brown
