Hades Loading as if Keyboard and Mouse on Steamdeck

So this has never happened to me on steamdeck before, but Hades appears to be loading as if I'm on keyboard and mouse on my steamdeck. Which I am not, I have gamepad and everything selected. Changing that profile on teh steam layer doesn't change anything.

I did see something about how it has native steam input or whatever on initial boot, but it didn't seem to indicate it would be this. Because I can't get anything to work outside of a touch screen interface.

So what's the setting I need to change to get it to book into gamepad?

I don't even know if this is a bug - which I can't report because my controls don't work at the moment.
