Thunder fan but I feel bad for the pacers
I’ve been a Thunder fan for 17 years, and I’m ecstatic that we won the championship, it’s an incredible feeling. But watching Haliburton go down with that injury crushed my soul. He had one of the most memorable playoff runs in recent memory, and to see it end like that hurts. He overcame the overrated narratives, he risked his body tonight to compete and bring Indiana a championship. From the get go he looked locked in and he was and later in the game that final minute seeing Aaron Nesmith crying on the bench. watching T.J. hug his mom. Reggie consoling T.J. And the other pacers players it was all tough to see. That Pacers team played with so much heart, grit, resilience and passion. As a Thunder fan they were a nightmare at times, no lead felt safe even when we were up it felt like we were down 20, I loved watching the Thunder but watching this pacers team was truly special. They were amazing. I knew they’d be a tough matchup for us after winning the West, and they proved it. Much respect to that squad. They earned every bit of my admiration.
