Advice for Scarlet fight?

I've spent 8 hours fighting normal difficulty Scarlet trying to improve my clear timing (and I love Scarlet as a Nikke fan, haha), and while I've more or less can deal with every part of her kit, there's a few stuff that I'm still unsure on how to deal with:

1. What are the differences in her telegraphs/tells when she's doing a single dash + delayed judgment cut versus the normal unlockable dash + slash? I can't tell the difference between the two and just dodge immediately assuming it's the latter, but if she uses judgment cut instead, my dodge usually ends right when her attack triggers, damaging me.

I do try to double dodge horizontally, but because I'm locked on to her sometimes my second dodge goes the wrong way and lands me right back into her judgment cut...

2. Sometimes when I use my beta skill triplet on her, my lock on suddenly breaks and it messes up my attempts to parry or block right after because I somehow end up facing away from her attacks. What causes this?
