Project X LZ or Nippon Tour 105

Currently gaming some Ping G430’s with Project X LZ regular flex (5.5). These irons are cut a 1/2 inch short based on what club champion recommended.

I’m thinking about changing up the clubs as I’m not totally thrilled with the G430’s. They’ve served me well, but don’t necessarily like the feel of face. The Project X LZ shafts are nice but can’t tell if I’d like them in another set of clubs.

I’m thinking about going with the Nippon Tour 105 Regular flex in some new ZXi5’s. The fitter told me I could go with Nippon Tour 105’s or Project X LZ’s. I’m a little worried about going with the Nippon as they are already soft plus getting them a 1/2 inch will likely change the weight of 103 to likely 100-97.

Seeking any advice or comments from those who might have cut a half inch short on Nippons.
