(USA)Bad management almost made me kill myself.

Discussion

Maybe I’m not the best employee, maybe I don’t “try” as hard as others, maybe I make mistakes and overthink because of my ADHD…but to talk shit and put someone down who’s already ready to give up because of how his life has been. That’s low, that’s really low. Am I supposed to go to work everyday with a wide grin on my face and give it my all at a shitty fast food job? If you are in management, please understand these kinds of things are multifaceted, there’s a difference between “laziness” and struggling. Sorry that I’m not a soulless robot and care more about my actual life.

-I was forced to come into work really sick with COVID -Wrestling with the fact I found out my Dad was an alcoholic -my Mom who has the same depression and anxiety I do had to go to the Psych-ward because she wanted to off herself

I could go deeper into it, but the bottom-line is there is no reason to treat people the way I was treated, and it may look like someone’s not trying when in reality they’re FIGHTING to just..TRY.

Nobody cares anymore, which makes me wonder…

Should I?
