paroxetine / Paxil- trigger warning

Suicidal trigger warning

Hi 18 months ago I tried Paroxetine and on day 4 had horrible repetitive racing thoughts to kill myself so I got pulled off the drug day 4, Im wondering if anyone has had this side effect, pushed through and it went away?
