I need help deciding!

Basically my ex and I have been broken up for about 6 months. For one of our anniversary she got us promise bracelets that are permanent. I still have it on after all this time, but if I still want her back should I continue to wear it or should I break it off?(I can't put it back on because the clasp is a one time use)
