Monitors will not show display after swapping cables and changing input

Open | Hardware

As the title states. I have 2 monitors, 1 was connected via display port, the other connected on hdmi. I was running into some issues on the first one, but that issue doesn't happen with my other monitor on display port. So, I swapped the cables (this is not the first time I've done this with these monitors) and after changing inputs on both monitors to the correct input I have plugged in, they still will not show anything and they say there is no input detected.

I do not know the exact product numbers but the one that has hdmi after swap is an MSI and the other is a Dell.

The monitors were working prior to the swap, the only ends that I swapped were the ends in the monitors themselves. I did not move them from the ports on my GPU.

If curious about the issue I had with my display port monitor, it was an issue that made the monitor flicker constantly after a PC reboot. It would eventually fix itself, but I can't be asked right now to deal with it. The flickering doesn't happen at all on my other monitor.
