Best areas of Brooklyn?

I’m moving to NYC and haven’t spent a ton of time in Brooklyn. What are the best neighborhoods to live in? I want something charming, safe, near bars and restaurants, and a neat a subway line into Manhattan. I’m in my 30s and torn between Brooklyn and Manhattan. I’ve heard Williamsburg, Park Slope, Greenpoint and Fort Green. But am curious what specific area of those neighborhoods is best. I don’t know many streets around there, so it’d be helpful to see it circled on a map :).
