Rep Dior prescription glasses purchased from Janie

Hi everyone! I've been a long-time lurker on Reddit and have made several purchases based on information from this sub but this is my first review - I hope somebody finds it useful.

Like the post title says, I purchased my first pair of rep prescription glasses earlier this year from Janie (I didn't even know they made reps for these until I found a review here)!

My timeline: I first reached out to Janie on February 20th with several questions about the glasses (at like 12am lol). To my surprise, she replied in under 15 minutes. After a bit of back-and-forth, I decided on a pair I liked, sent over my prescription, received a quote, and paid via PayPal all on the same day. Normally I take my time with purchases like this, but I had accidentally broken my everyday glasses and was stuck wearing an old pair with an outdated prescription.

Janie mentioned that production would take about 10 days, and shipping could take anywhere from 7 to 25 days. However, the glasses showed up at my front door the next week! I live in Canada, so shipping time may vary depending on location.

The total cost came to $153 USD: $58 for the frames and $95 for the thin, transparent lenses. Shipping was free.

When I first tried them on, they felt a bit tight, but I took them to the nearest LensCrafters and had them adjusted for free. I’ve been wearing them for about four months now, and I honestly have no complaints. They're very sturdy and well-made. My only gripe is that the lenses are a little large for my face which makes my eyes look smaller, but that’s totally on me for choosing that style haha.

Overall, my experience with Janie was overwhelmingly positive. She responded quickly, answered all my questions patiently, and the glasses exceeded my expectations.
