GeForce GTX 1080 - Still good?

Hardware

Hey guys, I got a couple of questions.

I built my PC in 2018 and I still have the same graphics card as then, the GTX 1080. Just went back into PC part picker to goof around and look about getting a newer card in the next year or so. I haven't had any problems with my gameplay being "bad" or laggy, but I know it has been a while and I'm curious what my games would look like with a newer (and more GB) GPU. Do y'all think I'm missing out or not?

Second thing is, when I look into the properties of my GPU I noticed that it says I have 24,549 MB of total available graphics memory; well converting that to GB would mean I have 24 GB of memory in my GPU. Which apparently was not a thing for the GTX 1080 (like I said I put this thing together in 2018 so I don't remember all the specs). I wanna know how much memory I actually have because with VRAM apparently it makes a big difference anything less than 8GB.
