Tell me if I’m wrong please

Communication

I understand that was being autistic. Your emotions can be heightened and you can react to certain things and people don’t take it as “normal reaction” if that makes sense. But something that really annoys me is that I feel like the way people react my emotions is always chalked up to my diagnosis.

I don’t know if you also feel like this but I swear to God after I got diagnosed it was like a switch flipped for everyone like my emotions aren’t being perceived as normal emotions.

Like if I’m sad I’m too sad, if I’m mad I’m too mad, if I’m excited I’m too excited and nothing that I can do will ever allow my emotions to be enough for anyone. Not that I need someone’s approval for my emotions but feeling like I can’t be a human is exhausting.
