Disappointed with Minefort

When I tried to access my world over the past couple of weeks, Minecraft would usually say "Unable to connect to world." Occasionally it would connect, but usually not. It was mostly working for maybe a month before that, except that my friend would randomly get booted from the game if he didn't move for a couple minutes (like when sheltering at night), and would occasionally clip into some kind of glitchy void under the world, which would force him to leave and rejoin.

It's also annoying having to "wake up" the server every couple of days to prevent it from being deleted. If the server goes 72 hours without being "woken up," Minefort locks the server and holds it for ransom. They will not unlock the server unless you pay them.

Skins do not show in Minefort server worlds, even when the same skins show in local single player worlds, and even with "only allow trusted skins" disabled. I could not even change to a different preset skin. It would look like the other skin was being selected, but it would show a random preset skin in the game.

The customer support chat window on the Minefort website does nothing. They do not reply to messages, except to plug their Discord server, or to ask the user to rate the support (after giving none). I don't know why people recommend Minefort, unless the quality had recently gone downhill.
