Did your Nparent hide regular household items from you?

I’m curious how many others experienced this.

My N step mother would hide anything if she noticed I had used it. If I used the blender one day, it would be gone the next. If I used the computer, even for school work, it would be unplugged (sometimes while I was still using it, which was fun).

My final straw was the bath plug. I love baths & always have. It went on for years that she would hide the bath plug so I couldn’t use it-but I ended up beating her at her own game by just buying one and keeping it in my room, lol.

I’m certain she just didn’t want me to experience any joy or comfort. So I’m curious, did your Nparent also do this, and if so, what mundane or random household items would they hide from you?
