Semi-permanent hair dye removal

Hello beautiful people!

I’m sure someone on here has asked a similar question but does anyone know how to remove black semi-permanent hair dye? I used the Clairol natural instincts semi-permanent black hair dye. I did it back in March and it says 28 washes on the box but I don’t really see it fading. Any way to remove it without bleaching my hair? I already tried the vitamin C + head&shoulders mixture but it did nothing.
