Guitar or piano for theory and production?

So I've been producing in ableton for ~1.5 years. I don't really know my exact genre lol but it's like indie/alternative/rnb. I have basic music theory knowledge, like chords, keys, progressions because I'm an intermediate guitar player (definitely have hit that "intermediate rut" that a lot of guitar players do lol). I've also been messing around with piano a little bit. My question is, which one should I invest time into to learn music theory, and which instrument will help me more in my productions? I've tried to learn both simultaneously but I just don't have enough time (and suck at sticking to habits lol), so I think it would be better to put energy into only one instrument. I also don't know which one I should focus on because I already have some guitar skill, but with piano I'm basically a beginner.
